Inglewood the Town with Historic Value
On arrival to Inglewood, visit the Inglewood Eucalyptus Distillery Museum. Explore the “Blue Eucy” history which includes equipment and pictures, view the working eucalyptus model and stroll around the original Jones distillery site.
Enjoy morning tea before exploring the town.
Inglewood is a mecca for antiques and collectibles, with 5 stores offering an eclectic mix of vintage clothing, books, toys and tools, porcelain, laceworks and much more.
Visit the Historic Inglewood Town Hall (a guided tour) in 1954 the renowned chiming clock was dedicated to the soldiers who fought in the world wars.
Lunch at the Empire State Hotel Inglewood
Then we take a guided tour of the East Loddon Woolshed erected in the early 1870’s, this woolshed in the early days was used by 32 blade shearers and accommodated at one time 800 to 1000 sheep.
